Ann Arbor, MI – Ann Arbor's school board will use a search firm to help find the district's next superitendent, but has not yet decided if it will hire an interim candidate.
The board met with a consulting firm Wednesday night to help clarify the criteria by which to judge potential interim superintendent candidates.
Trustees also approved a resolution asking board President Karen Cross to select two or three top search companies to make presentations to the board in the near future.
Current Superintendent George Fornero announced last month that he's leaving the district at the end of the school year to take a similar post in Illinois.
