Superintendent Field Narrowed to Four

By Andrew Cluley

Ann Arbor, MI – Four candidates remain as the Ann Arbor School Board continues the process of finding a replacement for outgoing Superintendent George Fornero.
On Saturday, one of the seven candidates withdrew from consideration. The school board then trimmed the field to four.
The remaining four are James Roberts from the Birmingham school district, Cheryl Kreger from Dearborn public schools, Susan Allan from Grosse Pointe public schools, and George Heitsch from Farmington public schools.
All four are assistant or deputy superintendents in their current school districts.
The second round of interviews will take place the first week of June.
