Drunk driving is on the rise across Michigan.

Law enforcement officials arrested more than 560 motorists for drunk driving during the most recent 'Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign.  Over 100 of those arrested had a blood alcohol level of .17 or higher.

Kendall Wingrove is with the Michigan Office of Highway Safety.

"In the southeast Michigan area, there were approximately 11 arrests in Washtenaw County, 13 in Jackson, 10 in Monroe."

Wingrove says these arrests highlight the need for increased education and enforcement efforts.
