Town hall conversations are taking place in Washtenaw County this week to give citizens a chance to interact with their elected officials.

The future of health care and what potential changes mean to Michigan families is the focus of a town hall meeting Wednesday night at 7 in the Ypsilanti High School auditorium.

12th District Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, state representative Ronnie Peterson, and the Minister's Alliance of Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and Vicinity put the community forum together to talk  about possible changes to the Affordable Care Act.

On Thursday, newly-elected state Representative Donna Lasinski has set up a town hall forum in Scio Township to talk with constituents about what's happening in the state legislature.  She'll be joined by fellow representatives Adam Zemke, Yousef Rabhi, and Ronnie Peterson to hold a "This is Your House" listening tour as an opportunity for residents to discuss their top concerns.
