Today marks the kick-off of a week dedicated to Michigan's craft beer industry, along with the local establishments that help small breweries get their product out to the public.
Ypsi-Arbor Beer Week runs through August 9th, with events planned in local bars, restaurants and retail businesses.
Organizer Anne Drummond says this isn't a bunch of people crowding under a tent to taste-test beers - not that there's anything wrong with that.
Drummond says "Ypsi-Arbor Beer Week will drive consumers to places where craft beer is shared, sold, consumed and loved already."
