Ypsilanti will be filled with superheroes this Saturday thanks to the its first Comic Con convention.
Ypsilanti will host its first Comic Con convention this Saturday. Vendors from around the State will gather at St. Matthews United Methodist Church to showcase comic books, action figures and other collectibles.
The event is expected to help make an impact on the local economy. WEMU news spoke with James Coniff, a clerk at Fun for All Comics and Games in Ypsilanti says the convention is what the city needs right now, and as a comic fan, is thrilled.
Costumes are encouraged at the event.
