    After finishing the Mid-American Conference schedule at a 6-2 mark, three members of Eastern Michigan University's women's tennis team earned All-MAC accolades. Diana Davitaia and Klara Supejova each earned All-MAC First Team honors, while Nino Mebuke was named to the second team. These are Davitaia and Mebuke's first All-MAC awards, while it is Supejova's second-straight season as a first team member.

    After finishing the regular season tied with Ball State University, the Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team will head to Oxford, Ohio for the 2014 Mid-American Conference Tennis Championships this weekend, April 25-27. The Eagles (13-8) completed the MAC schedule at 6-2, tying for the second-best record, but fell in the tiebreak to BSU, leaving the Green and White as the No. 3 seed in this year's tournament. Failing to secure a bye into the semifinal round, the Eagles drew No. 6-seeded Bowling Green State University. Eastern will faceoff with the Falcons Friday, April 25, at 2 p.m.

    Eastern Michigan University's women's track and field team will take on an expansive four-day schedule with participation at two different venues between Wednesday, April 23, and Saturday, April 26.  The Eagles will send a group to the annual Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, while the rest of the team will remain in-state to take on the field at the Hillsdale Gina Relays.

EMU Eagles forward and red-shirt senior, Glenn Bryant was featured as No. 4  on Tuesday's top ten plays on ESPN's Sportscenter during their 56-37 victory over rival Western Michigan University.

EMU Welcomes New Football Coach Chris Creighton [photos]

Eastern Michigan University's new football coach says he's excited to be here and passionate to work with the players.  

Chris Creighton was introduced to the EMU community at a press conference Thursday that included a pep talk by the new coach. Creighton says his goal at EMU is to win a MAC championship as soon as possible, but also to make sure they are getting everything out of the program's potential, adding that he will work his offense around what the players are most capable of doing, but wants to have a balanced attack.

Eastern Michigan University Names Creighton as Head Football Coach

Eastern Michigan University has named Chris Creighton as its head football coach. Creighton comes from Des Moines, Iowa's Drake University, where he led the Bulldogs as their head coach for the past six years. He becomes the 37th full-time head coach in EMU's 122-year history.
