    The Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics is launching a Gameday Rewards Application that will take the place of Eagle Nation Rewards. Fans will earn points each time they "check-in" at a home event and be eligible to win a variety of prizes. The EMU Gameday Rewards App is available on all iPhone and Android devices by searching EMU Gameday Rewards in the Apple App Store or GooglePlay Market and is free to all fans (not just students).

    The Eastern Michigan University football team will feature a live Bald Eagle from the Leslie Science & Nature Center (LSNC) for fans to interact with at all 2014 home football contests. The Bald Eagle will be available for fans to interact with before the game and during half time at every home game in the 2014 campaign

    Though the Eastern Michigan University's men's cross country roster lies heavy with incoming recruits, every returning member of the Green and White knows what it is like to be a part of a championship team.  In fact, they all know nothing different as the Eagles are riding a four-year Mid-American Conference Championship winning streak, and are looking for a fifth title to send two seniors out as indisputable champions.  The Green and White will open the 2014 campaign on the home turf of a MAC foe, lifting the lid on the season with the Toledo Home Opener at Pearson Metropark in Oregon, Ohio.

EMU Eagles forward and red-shirt senior, Glenn Bryant was featured as No. 4  on Tuesday's top ten plays on ESPN's Sportscenter during their 56-37 victory over rival Western Michigan University.

EMU Welcomes New Football Coach Chris Creighton [photos]

Eastern Michigan University's new football coach says he's excited to be here and passionate to work with the players.  

Chris Creighton was introduced to the EMU community at a press conference Thursday that included a pep talk by the new coach. Creighton says his goal at EMU is to win a MAC championship as soon as possible, but also to make sure they are getting everything out of the program's potential, adding that he will work his offense around what the players are most capable of doing, but wants to have a balanced attack.

Eastern Michigan University Names Creighton as Head Football Coach

Eastern Michigan University has named Chris Creighton as its head football coach. Creighton comes from Des Moines, Iowa's Drake University, where he led the Bulldogs as their head coach for the past six years. He becomes the 37th full-time head coach in EMU's 122-year history.
