The University of Illinois-Chicago (1-6-0) will host the Eagles (3-2-1) with the action beginning at 1 p.m. CST from Flames Field.

The luncheon will be held at Sidetrack Bar and Grill, located at 56 East Cross Street in Ypsilanti's historic Depot Town. First-year Head Coach Chris Creighton will address the group and participate in a question and answer session during each event.

    Eastern Michigan University's women's tennis team will open up its fall slate this weekend, Sept. 19-21, when it takes part in the 2014 Gopher Invitational at the University of Minnesota. The invite will take place at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

EMU Eagles forward and red-shirt senior, Glenn Bryant was featured as No. 4  on Tuesday's top ten plays on ESPN's Sportscenter during their 56-37 victory over rival Western Michigan University.

EMU Welcomes New Football Coach Chris Creighton [photos]

Eastern Michigan University's new football coach says he's excited to be here and passionate to work with the players.  

Chris Creighton was introduced to the EMU community at a press conference Thursday that included a pep talk by the new coach. Creighton says his goal at EMU is to win a MAC championship as soon as possible, but also to make sure they are getting everything out of the program's potential, adding that he will work his offense around what the players are most capable of doing, but wants to have a balanced attack.

Eastern Michigan University Names Creighton as Head Football Coach

Eastern Michigan University has named Chris Creighton as its head football coach. Creighton comes from Des Moines, Iowa's Drake University, where he led the Bulldogs as their head coach for the past six years. He becomes the 37th full-time head coach in EMU's 122-year history.
