The animal rights group FARM, paid one dollar to any Eastern Michigan University student who watched an animal abuse video of undercover footage from factory farms and slaughterhouses during their visit to campus this week.

Cruelty investigators with the Humane Society of Huron Valley expect to file a report with the county prosecutor's office next week on the stabbing of a dog during a heated domestic dispute in Ann Arbor. 

The incident happened Wednesday night in a home where a family consisting of two adults and two teens live.

Cruelty investigators with the Humane Society of Huron Valley found horrendous conditions in a home in Ypsilanti Township from which 88 malnourished, flea-bitten cats have been removed. WEMU's Bob Eccles has the story.
